CHANGES TO INTERNET ACCESS AT SCHOOL
by Admin User - Thursday, 5 May 2016, 01:34 PM

CHANGES TO INTERNET ACCESS AT SCHOOL

The way we access the internet will be changing Friday 6 May, when the Department starts rolling out Single Sign-on services at our school. What this means is when you logon to a school computer, you will no longer need to re-enter your username and password to access the internet. However you will still need to sign in when accessing the Portal.

BYOD Devices

This update will affect BYOD devices and how they authenticate to the internet when using the school wifi. When promted for your usename and password, you will be required to add ‘@detnsw’ to your username.

You may need to remove your existing school wifi settings from your BYOD device and reconnect to the wifi with the new BYOD settings below.
