Exams in library

  •  Any student that requires an exam to be re scheduled due to work placement or other school approved activities must see Mr Ha prior to MONDAY 20TH JUNE 2016 to have this organised.
  • All exams are to be held in the school hall unless specified or special provisions are required.
  • Students are expected to be seated in the exam room 5 minutes before the scheduled starting time for each examination.
  • STUDENTS THAT ARRIVE LATE MUST SWIPE INTO A BLOCK OFFICE PRIOR TO ENTERING THE HALL. Students will not be admitted into an exam if they are more than 30 minutes late.
  • Students will not be allowed to leave the examination early; they must remain until the allocated finishing time.
  • STUDENTS NEED TO ATTEND SCHOOL ONLY FOR THEIR SET EXAMS. Once students have completed each examination they will be required to leave the school premises. The only exception is if students sign into the library for private study and have another scheduled examination.
  • All Life Skills exams will be 1 hour unless specified.
  • No mobile phones or I-pods are to be taken into the hall or exam rooms.
  • If you are absent from an exam you must notify the school on the day and obtain a doctor’s certificate. THE DOCTOR’S CERTIFICATE must be given to Mr Ha on the following day. Your exam MAY BE rescheduled if time permits.
  • Students who miss an exam will be issued with an N-award warning and will be required to re- do the task as directed by their class teacher.

CHANGES TO INTERNET ACCESS AT SCHOOL
by Admin User - Thursday, 5 May 2016, 01:34 PM

CHANGES TO INTERNET ACCESS AT SCHOOL

The way we access the internet will be changing Friday 6 May, when the Department starts rolling out Single Sign-on services at our school. What this means is when you logon to a school computer, you will no longer need to re-enter your username and password to access the internet. However you will still need to sign in when accessing the Portal.

BYOD Devices

This update will affect BYOD devices and how they authenticate to the internet when using the school wifi. When promted for your usename and password, you will be required to add ‘@detnsw’ to your username.

You may need to remove your existing school wifi settings from your BYOD device and reconnect to the wifi with the new BYOD settings below.
